Type: permanent, full-time

Salary: 12000 RON gross monthly + 30% annual bonus

Location: Romania


Job brief: For our partner, an internationally recognised company operating in the industry of premium and reliable power tools, equipment and floor care appliances, we are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to implement new line of the main company’s brand outdoor products.

In this position, you will master a dynamic and challenging professional trade sales environment and have a say when it comes to innovative ideas, products and approaches. We expect you to be exceptionally presentable, adaptative and knowledgeable for different kinds of contexts and clients.



  • Distribution development of company’s outdoor product line,
  • Opening new accounts in outdoor industry: distributors of garden/outdoor products, garden centres, outdoor/garden electric tools end users,
  • Planning and managing own selling process (presentations, offerings, pricing and contract negotiations),
  • Ensuring that all the company’s products and services are continually promoted through regular contact with existing and prospective customers and follow up leads for new business opportunities,
  • Assisting business partners in selling outdoor line to end users, through practical demonstrations and technical support,
  • Training and educating end users in the performance advantage and safe use of outdoor equipment,
  • Close cooperation with the marketing team,
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends and competitor movements.


Key requirements:

  • minimum 4 years’ successful selling experience (achieving targets) with strong emphasis on end user/ commercial sales
  • experience in and/or knowledge of construction industry, preferably with tools and associated services; additionally, technical education is seen as advantageous
  • strong IT capabilities (tools for analysing prices and sales activity), e.g. CRM, SAP, Qlickview, MS Office, Internet, and social media
  • a very good understanding and use of English language (at least B2 level – spoken and written)
  • clean driving licence (EU – cat.B)
