Overview:
The JSS PPE role is responsible for identifying key end user targets and support conversion to the Milwaukee brand exceptional personal protective equipment (PPE) solutions through the leading the safety audits at the job sites, analysing the risk assessment and used PPE, testing & training an employees and H&S regarding selection and proper use of the PPE. Key trades to be focused on are: general construction and building, production, power utilities, HVAC, plumbing and water utilities, automotive, electrotechnical installers and industry. Furthermore the role requires the service and nurturing of repeat / increased business with these end users and ultimately to grow sales and build relationships within specified geographic location.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage your personal customer portfolio according to the business strategy and agreed goals and objectives
- Demonstrate and provide technical support on the range of innovative Milwaukee PPE products to the existing and new customers’ base of end users & H&S Specialists and convert key contractors to the Milwaukee brand exceptional solutions,
- Lead the risk assessment and PPE selection audits at the job sites and provide propositions of optimisation the PPE selection in accordance with an environment and existing hazards
- Arrange and monitor the PPE trials and tests carried on by the end users at the job sites
- Train & educate end users in the performance advantage and safe use of Milwaukee products
- Ensure that all Company products and services are continually promoted through regular contact with existing customers and prospects and follow up leads for new business opportunities
- TheJob Site Solution Representative ( SALES REPRESENTATIVE ) Personal Protective Equipment will set relevant call objectives in CRM and plan follow up actions in order to further develop and penetrate accounts
- Update CRM on a daily basis to ensure a broad but detailed range of information is maintained
- Maintain a high level of product, trade and application knowledge
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions and corporate events
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Line Manager from time to time
Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ successful selling experience (achieving targets) with strong emphasis on end user/commercial sales
- Experience in or knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment market and products.
- Practically minded with a technical aptitude and willingness to learn and apply new product or technical knowledge
- Determination to build a career with a forward thinking business
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills both internally and externally
- Strong IT skills e.g. CRM, MS Office, PowerPoint, Internet etc
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Outgoing and likeable personality who is able to work as part of a fast moving and growing team
- Self-motivated and able to recognise new business opportunities
- Must be willing to work away from home when necessary and occasional weekends (agreed in advance)
- Clean Driving License
- English – working knowledge
