TAX CONSULTANT

Job brief:
For our partner, an international advisory group, providing a wide range of advisory services to a variety of clients, from large companies looking to complex advisory and inland guidelines to mid-size international firms just pervading into the CEE region, we are searching for two talented Tax Consultants to offer a first-class service to company’s clients.
Main responsibilities:
In a more senior role, you will:
- review tax compliance mandates, focusing on key clients, supervision, setting up procedures and automatization workflows,
- improve work standards, client management and business development,
- contribute on advisory, transactional and controversy engagements and mandates
- represent the firm in professional events and mentor junior staff.
In a more junior role, you will:
- perform tax consulting actions (corporation tax, withholding tax, income tax, local taxes, etc),
- identify and seize tax consultancy opportunities,
- conclude accurate internal reports, and ensure a correct responsiveness and a timely assistance to clients are provided,
- develop yourself as a trustworthy and knowledgeable professional.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Economics or Finance,
- Strong understanding of accounting theory (and incipient tax knowledge),
- At least 2 years of tax experience (preferably in an international environment or with international clients),
- excellent knowledge and use of Romanian and English,
- Proven focus on / passion in a finance career path.
