Position: Accountant

Job brief:

For our partner, a globally renowned provider of irrigation solutions, we are searching for an Experienced Accountant to conduct and oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the company’s financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: payables, receivables, banking, and fixed assets,
• Perform account reconciliations for the accounts assigned,
• Reviewing travel expense reports,
• Support implementation of various accounting procedures,
• Support inventory analyses – reconciliations and adjustments,
• Preparing to review and control accounting journals,
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance,
• Supporting Finance Manager in preparation of monthly and yearly financial activities,
• Additional accounting and administrative duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Diploma holder with professional relevant qualifications,
• 3+ years accounting experience and thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures,
• proficiency with emailing and MS Office applications
• hands-on experience with accounting software packages, (i.e. Odoo),
• very good communication and team-player attitude,
• accuracy and attention to detail,
• aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills,
• demonstrable high reliability and self-motivation,
• ability to drive accountability and result-orientation,
• native or fluent Romanian language,
• very good knowledge and use of English language,
• the right to work within the European Union.
